How to Prepare for Your Brow Lamination Appointment
A little preparation goes a long way in achieving beautiful, long-lasting brow lamination. The following tips will help you feel comfortable, relaxed, and fully prepared for your appointment.
✅ Arrive Makeup-Free
Please come with a clean face—no mascara, eye makeup, brow products, or heavy skincare around the eyes and brows. This allows us to start your service right away without spending time on removal and ensures better results.
✅ Dress Comfortably
You’ll be lying down for up to 2–3 hours for some lash services, so wear cozy clothes and bring a layer if you run cold—my suite tends to be a little chilly.
✅ Plan Your Entertainment
I always encourage relaxation, but if you’d prefer to listen to a podcast, playlist, or audiobook, have it ready to go. I recommend keeping the eyes closed, once the gel pads are placed on your eyes.
✅ Avoid Caffeine Right Before Your Appointment
Caffeine can make it harder to relax and can cause your eyes to flutter. If possible, skip the coffee right before your appointment — your lashes will thank you!
What to Expect During Your Brow Lamination Appointment
After we begin by cleansing the brow area, I’ll apply a soothing eye mask to enhance your spa-like experience. From there, the Brow Lamination Process begins.
A gentle solution is applied to soften the brow hairs and make them more flexible.
While the follicles are open, a conditioning treatment is worked in to nourish the brows from the inside out.
Your brows will then be brushed and styled into your desired shape, followed by a setting lotion to lock everything in place.
We’ll finish with a nourishing oil to keep your brows healthy and hydrated.
Shaping is included, and you can add a brow tint for a more defined and dimensional look.
The full process takes about 45–60 minutes.
How Long Does Brow Lamination Last?
Results last up to 6–8 weeks. It’s perfect for anyone wanting a low-maintenance, high-impact brow upgrade.
How To Care For Your Brow Lamination
Proper aftercare helps maintain the shape, softness, and longevity of your brow lamination.
The First 24 Hours After Your Appointment
At the end of your brow lamination service, a nourishing leave-on product is applied to condition and support the brow hairs. To allow this product to fully absorb and the brows to properly set, avoid getting the brow area wet or applying makeup for the first 24 hours.
This includes avoiding water, steam, heavy sweating, oil-based products, and excessive touching or brushing of the brows during this time.
After the initial 24 hours, you may resume your normal cleansing and makeup routine while continuing gentle brow care.
Daily Care:
Cleanse the brow area gently with a non-exfoliating cleanser
Brush brows daily with a brow spoolie
